Wang Yai Farmer Cooperative
A farmer cooperative growing rubber the Wanakaset way.
Wang Yai is a farmer-owned rubber cooperative in the Thepa Watershed of southern Thailand — neighbouring the Songkhla Lagoon Watershed — and a member of the Wanakaset Symbiosis Network. Its members grow rubber the Wanakaset way — inside a diverse, multi-species agroforest rather than a monoculture — so the same land yields many harvests while rebuilding soil, water, and biodiversity.

“This is a path that's not only for people who are passionate about the forest. But it's an economic answer and a path forward in the future of rubber.”
