Ban Mueang Rubber Farmer Cooperative
Smallholder rubber, farmed as forest, in southern Thailand.
Ban Mueang is a farmer-owned rubber cooperative in the Songkhla Lagoon Watershed of southern Thailand, and a member of the Wanakaset Symbiosis Network. Its members grow rubber the Wanakaset way — inside a diverse, multi-species agroforest rather than a monoculture — so the same land yields many harvests while rebuilding soil, water, and biodiversity.
